Graduated in Economics and later in Law from University of Kerala.

Enrolled as an Advocate on 13.11.1971 and started practice at the District Court, Kottayam.

Shifted to Irinjalakuda Bar, Trichur district in October, 1972.

Appointed as the Chairman of Kerala Agricultural Income Tax and Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal in 1986. Ever since, Chaired its Principal Bench at Trivendrum and various Additional Benches at Kottayam, Ernakulam, Palakkad and Kozhikode.
