Mr. A.K. Gaur was born on 02.07.1948. After Completion of LLB, enrolled as Advocate. Practised in High Court of Judicature at Allahabad and Central Administrative Tribunal, Allahabad for about 30 years. Have been Sr.Standing Counsel for Indian Rlys. for a no. of years. Have been Add. Standing Counsel for Govt.of India, for about six years in High Court

Have been president of Central Administrative Tribunal Bar Association Allahabad in the year 1992-93 and 2004-05. Have been counsel for several corporations in High Court.

Joined CAT, Jabalpur Bench as Member(J) in the year 2006. Before assuming the charge of Member(J) he was in a very lucrative practice in CAT and High Court of Allahabad and a day prior to his joining he continued to work as Sr.Standing Counsel for Indian Railways in CAT Allahabad. Presently posted at Allahabad Bench.
