Born on 22nd April, 1959. Did his education from Delhi University and obtained Master degree in Commerce as well as LL.B. Is an Associated Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Enrolled with the Delhi Bar Council in the year 1983. Practiced mainly on writs side. Handled Constitutional matters including Preventive Detention, Land Acquisition, Arbitration etc. Was associated with the Chamber of late Shri S.C. Gupta, Senior Advocate. Remained Additional Central Government Standing Counsel, CAT, New Delhi during the year 1994-1997 and was on the Panel of ICAR, Sports Authority of India and Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Assumed the charge as Member (Judicial), CAT, Principal Bench on 9th April, 2008. Transferred to CAT, Jabalpur Bench on 16th May, 2008.
